The State Conference is a comprehensive leadership conference featuring opportunities for members to share their STAR Event projects and learning, to learn leadership skills, explore career opportunities and give service. It’s the place to be for personal growth, professional development and social fun. Don’t miss out on this once a year event!

Prepare
- Find your outfits and make sure they align with the Minnesota FCCLA State Conference Dress Code
- Complete and turn in your Code of Conduct and Permission Forms
- Plan out your meals
- Practice for your competitions and review your rubrics!
Complete
- Applications for the Lori Henry Memorial Scholarship (Free trip to NLC!)
- Applications for formal leadership positions and prepare for your run to office
- Nominate a student from your chapter for the Ultimate Leadership Award by March 1
- Nominate an Adult for an Award including: The Spirit of Advising, New on the Horizon, Alumni and Administrator awards by March 1
- Nominate someone for a National Awards (submitted via the FCCLA Portal) including: Adviser Educator, Adviser Mentor, Adviser of the Year Adviser of the year Award, and more

- Create Service Project Boards
- Create Chapter Pins
- Create Senior Boards
Reach Out
- Collect items for the Hygiene Drive Service Project
- Solicit Silent Auction Baskets
- Recruit Adult Judges and Student Judges
- Invite Alumni to join in the fun
