Life Story of Morris Morrison, Speaker at State Conference, Will Fascinate You, Motivate You.

Posted by Patrick | February 11, 2015 |

Morris Morrison WILL “ROCK THE HOUSE!”

A True Pro with Great Energy! We are excited to announce him as a State FCCLA Conference Speaker!

Morris Morrison

Morrison was raised by his aunt and uncle after the death of his mother and father, who were into bad things and choices in New York City. Morrison was left as an orphan. After his aunt died, Morrison said he made a promise to himself that he would be all he could to glorify his family that took care of him all those years. After being on his own as an early teen, Morris was able to remain motivated & engaged by becoming involved with many opportunities that enhanced his self-awareness. Morrison grew up and obtained his Bachelors in psychology at Fairmont State University in West Virginia followed by a Masters in Business from West Virginia University.

Since then, Morrison has traveled around vast numbers of universities and states, spreading the word on how telling your story can give you a leg up in the world and connect you with different people.

Anything can happen at any given moment – students become motivated and inspired! Highly motivated students CONFIDENTLY take action in their lives and they DO NOT follow the crowd–they lead! Get ready to be energized and inspired, because it all begins TODAY!

Motivational speaker Morris Morrison will inspire you on a journey towards personal growth and he will challenge you to make intentional choices to apply your “LEAD-UR-SHIP” skills. The goal:creating engaged FCCLA leaders who leverage their academic & leadership opportunities to change the world!

✔ To motivate you to DREAM bigger dreams.
✔ To inspire you to use their talents to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
✔ To encourage you to CONFIDENTLY apply their leadership potential.
✔ To inspire you to set high GOALS AND STANDARDS in life.
✔ To help you make BETTER CHOICES that will positively affect their future.

This former Collegiate Basketball Player, Collegiate Student Body President, Homecoming King, and President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., has a story that is so inspiring that he has quickly become one of the most sought-after motivational speakers on both the college and business circuit.

Minnesota FCCLA will welcome Morris Morrison!

I’m a senior at Robert C Byrd. You just spoke with us at the Robinson Grand in Clarksburg, WV. You had me stand up and ask what music i liked then when we left i didnt give you a very good high five and you asked how i was but i ignored your question. I just wanted you to know that you truly are an inspiration. I have heard you before but this time really hit me. I stopped myself from crying in the middle of your speech and just crawled down into my seat. I don’t want to go into detail but i hope you get this and reply. I am going to try to email you on other ways i find. But thankyou for coming and talking to us today, you hit a lot of us and i love how you didnt let the worst of life tear you down. I have a way of explaining life as a river to people when they are uoset but i don’t normally listen to advise. Again i appreciate you for today and thankyou for everything you have done and continue to do.
