Did you know that Minnesota ranks among the highest states in philanthropic work? That means that Minnesotans volunteer and donate to non-profit causes at a high rate!
MN FCCLA is a non profit organization. One of our alumni members on the MN FCCLA Board has said; “Giving back and seeking donations is part of the DNA of the organization.”
So- there is an opportunity coming to “Give Back“. This year at the 2014 State Conference the annual Silent Auction will be there! Each year, MN FCCLA chapters have the opportunity to donate a basket to the Silent Auction. During the State Conference, stop by the Silent Auction room and bid on some “awesome items”. The 2013-2014 State Executive Council goal is to raise over 1,500 dollars. Proceeds will help MN FCCLA continue leadership programs throughout the State.
A few items you might like to bid on are ticket packages, signed memorabilia, t-shirts from colleges, movie and hotel passes, and some other cool gifts. Stay tuned for more information about the Silent Auction coming soon. You won’t want to miss this year’s amazing Silent Auction!
Contact the State FCCLA Office if you have a donation or a Silent Auction item.
