DARE TO EXPLORE WITH FCCLA!

Posted by Patrick | September 7, 2016 |

It’s that time of year again! Time to announce the 2016-2017 Minnesota FCCLA State Theme! Drum roll please…”DARE to Explore with MN FCCLA!”

state theme 2016-2017

  • Define goals

  • Accept the challenge

  • Recognize your leadership potential

  • Enhance our future

When you begin an adventure you must first define any goals you may have as an individual, as a group, and/or as an organization. Without goals, no one would be able to accomplish anything. Goals are the destination of your adventure, and knowing what they are helps you to determine your path to reach those goals.

You then must accept the challenge. This could be the challenge of starting the adventure. It could be overcoming a personal challenge, or it could be one that the group or organization faces. Everyone is met with different challenges throughout their adventures. It’s up to you to accept the challenge and face it head on to overcome.

One of the most important parts of an adventure is recognizing your leadership potential. Whether you’re exploring new opportunities throughout your adventure as an individual, or if you’re exploring with a group, everyone has leadership potential that they can use throughout the journey to reach their goals.

Lastly, new adventures bring new opportunities that enhance our future when we do dare to explore. We are not only enhancing our future as individuals, we are also enhancing the future of our organization, our communities, and our world. That is why is it so important to DARE to Explore with MN FCCLA! The state officer team is very excited about this new theme for the year and hope that you are too! Good luck this year, and stay tuned for more information about the theme!
