This year the Minnesota FCCLA State Theme is SOAR2SUCCESS!
The state officer team would like to challenge chapter members to use the goals that are part of the state theme in their chapters to do projects within FCCLA. “Fly As One”, “Soar Beyond Your Limitations”, and “Persevere Through Turbulence” are the three goals that the state officers have set for FCCLA chapters.
There are many different ways that you can implement these goals.
Chapter members can “Fly As One” when doing a S.T.A.R. event and competing individually at the region, state, and even national levels.
To “Soar Beyond Your Limitations” chapter members can go out of their comfort zone and try something new that will challenge them.
“Persevere Through Turbulence” means to keep trying and making progress even when things get challenging. Chapter members may find a project that challenges them and they may be hesitant to try it, but they can try it and challenge themselves to do it. The state officer team this year wanted to make goals that were attainable and realistic for chapter members. That way they can be used throughout the year and possibly for the rest of their lives. So, on behalf of the state officer team, this is your chance to SOAR2SUCCESS with FCCLA!
