One organization you should consider joining is called FCCLA, we are the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. FCCLA will actively push you to break out of your shell, help build your public speaking skills, and help you make friendships that will last a lifetime!
FCCLA offers many benefits for your future, from the multiple scholarship opportunities to the professional skills you will learn . FCCLA will allow you to explore many different career fields like culinary arts or fashion and interior design. You get to have hands-on experience to let you see if that field suits you. You will also get to build essential life skills for your future such as; teamwork, time management, and financial literacy. All of these experiences will benefit you for your future!
Through FCCLA you will be able to compete and be able to get the recognition that you deserve. A great way to compete is to try a STAR Event. There are over 30 STAR events you could try, each are designed to help you gain the knowledge for enhancing your career. By competing in one of these events you will have the opportunity to travel around the country and gain recognition at the local, state, and national level!
