These awards recognize our highest-achieving members, most dedicated advisers, and most supportive administrators and alumni. Honors are given at both the state and national levels—so please double-check which level you’re nominating for and use the appropriate forms. Nominations are unlimited and open to anyone, including students.

Ultimate Leadership Award (Submit Here)
Chapter Advisers are expected to reserve this award to only the highest achieving members. They may nominate only 1 member. This member cannot be an active State or National Officer.
Members receive points in the following categories: leadership roles, competitive events, chapter activities. individual activities, and travel.

Chapter Spark (submitted with State Registration)
The Chapter Spark award recognizes someone who brings great energy and enthusiasm to their chapter. This person is great at building up the group, motivating others, and being the engine to get things done.
New Member Award (Submitted with State Registration)
The New Member award recognizes a new addition to the chapter. While they may not know everything, they are eager to learn, explore FCCLA, and are taking positive steps to carve our their own leadership role within the organization.
MN FCCLA Chapter Awards
Outstanding Chapter Award
These awards are given out based on a points system, recognizing the work that chapters, and their members put in throughout the year. There is no limit to how many, Gold, Silver, or Bronze chapters can be earned in a given year. Advisers are expected to track and report on the set criteria, provide proof where the form asks, and turn in the online form by the State Conference Registration Deadline.

New on the Horizon
Celebrates a new adviser (0–3 years) who’s building a strong chapter, supporting student leaders, and empowering members through programming, service, and/or competitive events.
Spirit of Advising
Honors advisers who faithfully serve—often behind the scenes—to ensure student success. Nominees: believe in FCCLA’s mission; support students; provide learning experiences; encourage positive character; nurture leaders; and currently serve as an FCCLA adviser.
Outstanding Administrator
Recognizes a principal, CTE coordinator, or administrator who has provided exceptional support for FCCLA.
Distinguished Alumni
Recognizes alumni who go above and beyond to support MN FCCLA programming and/or have made significant contributions in their field.

Mentor Adviser – For advisers who have achieved Master Adviser recognition, supported new advisers for two years, assumed adult leadership roles, led adviser workshops, pursued training, and used FCCLA resources.

Educated Adviser – Recognizes advisers who excel in professional development and participation throughout the year.

Master Adviser – Now earned through the Adviser Academy.

Adviser of the Year (presented by U.S. Army) – FCCLA’s highest adviser honor, recognizing outstanding contributions to member growth and chapter success at local, state, and national levels; presented annually at the National Leadership Conference.
