State Leadership Conference

Save the Date for the 2026 State Leadership Conference – Friday March 27th – Sunday, March 29th at the Doubletree Bloomington 

Join 600+ MN FCCLA members for the largest MN FCCLA Event of the year at the DoubleTree Bloomington, March 27-29, 2026. 

Celebrate your hard work throughout the year and take action as you compete in STAR and Skills competitions, get inspired by remarkable and hilarious key note speakers, learn valuable leadership skills during workshops and connect with friends old over games, DJ and dance, group karaoke, food and fun!

The State Conference is a comprehensive leadership conference featuring opportunities for members to share their STAR Event projects and learning, to learn leadership skills, explore career opportunities and give service. It’s the place to be for personal growth, professional development and social fun. Don’t miss out on this once a year event!

Get ready for the event of the year!

Prepare

  • Find your outfits and make sure they align with the Minnesota FCCLA State Conference Dress Code
  • Complete and turn in your Code of Conduct and Permission Forms
  • Plan out your meals
  • Practice for your competitions and review your rubrics!

Complete

  • Applications for the Lori Henry Memorial Scholarship (Free trip to NLC!)
  • Applications for formal leadership positions and prepare for your run to office
  • Nominate a student from your chapter for the Ultimate Leadership Award by March 1
  • Nominate an Adult for an Award including: The Spirit of Advising, New on the Horizon, Alumni and Administrator awards by March 1
  • Nominate someone for a National Awards (submitted via the FCCLA Portal) including: Adviser Educator, Adviser Mentor, Adviser of the Year Adviser of the year Award, and more

Create

  • Create Service Project Boards
  • Create Senior Boards

Reach Out

  • Collect items for the Hygiene Drive Service Project
  • Solicit Silent Auction Baskets
  • Invite Alumni to join in the fun
  • Fundraise to help offset costs for State or Nationals
  • Connect with us and other members on Instagram or Facebook to get updates on conference features

Community Partnership opportunities at the conference

  • Support 500+ attendees by Sponsoring and or Exhibiting Click here to Sponsor or Exhibit
  • Donate a Silent Auction item or Door Prize for a lucky student to take home (contact Patrick for details on how and what to give).
  • Volunteer at the conference in a variety of fun and engaging roles that give students the ultimate leadership experience and put you in the action (contact Patrick for details).
  • Calling all business and industry experts! Competitions are at the center of this leadership conference, help give kids the chance to put their skills and practice to use by volunteering as a judge for one of the competitions Click here to volunteer as an event judge
